I'm a new user (have tested prior versions, finally bought a copy), running WinXP SP2.
After launching Organize365, I get the icon in my system tray. I can open any of several
O365 components - email, datavault, addressbook.. When I close these components, the
Organize365 icon remains in my system tray. Perfect.
However, when I am using Calendar it doesn't work that way.
I close calendar and I lose the icon from the system tray.
Has anyone else reported this behavior? Any hints on what might cause it?

Re: Close applet, keep O365 icon in system tray..
Hi Kyle,
Thanks for the post.. I can't recall anyone having reported this before, not within the past 18 months at least. Do you know whether or not you are logged in to Windows as an administrator?
Also, how are you closing the calendar - are you using "File", "Exit", or are you clicking on the "close" button at the top right of the screen?
Best Regards,
Gary.
Re: Close applet, keep O365 icon in system tray..
Hi Gary,
I've been closing it with the "close" button at the top right of the screen.
I will have some time today - so I'll experiment a bit more. Because I DID
have an old trial version on this machine, I'll try uninstalling, thoroughly cleaning
up any traces, and reinstalling. I'll post an update after..

Re: Close applet, keep O365 icon in system tray..
O.k...
I uninstalled, reinstalled. (Side note - my registration password is too old, so I need to request a new one.) Still the same issue. If I run email..when I close email the Organize365 icon remains in the system tray and still provides a popup menu.. Same thing for other applets - except for the calendar.
When I close the calendar, the system tray icon is killed.
The system tray isn't immediately redrawn, but if I slide my mouse cursor over the O365 icon it disappears. When monitoring jpim.exe in the Windows Task Manager, I see it closes as soon as the calendar window is closed.
Makes no difference whether I am closing the calendar from the File menu or using the red X button at the top right corner.
Yes, my account is a member of the Windows "administrators" group on this PC.
Finally, don't fret about this if no one else is experiencing it. In a month or two I'll have a replacement PC. In the meantime, the main feature I'm using is the ability to send messages out to customers in "Newsletter Mode".

Re: Close applet, keep O365 icon in system tray
Replaced my office PC (after 5+ years).. On the new PC, this issue has gone away. When I close the calendar applet, the O365 icon remains in the system tray.
